On 9 November 2023, an inter-college men’s hockey competition organized by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University was organized at the sports ground of KRPG College, Mathura. In which a total of 5 teams of the university participated, Usha College, AK College, Krishna College, BSA College, KRPG College, Mathura.
College Principal Dr. Praveen Kumar Aggarwal started the competition after getting introduced to the players. The first match was played between KR College and BSA College, Mathura in which KR College Mathura defeated BSA College, Mathura one-sidedly with a goal difference of 5-2 in which Prashant, Sandeep, Harish, Manoj Rawat Performed admirably. By getting the walk over, Krishna College, Agra entered directly into the final match.
In the final match, KRPG College, Mathura won the hockey competition by defeating Krishna College, Bamrauli Katara by a margin of 5-2. In this, team captain Sandeep, Yogesh, Harish, Prashant Dilip performed commendably. Sports in-charge of Kishori Raman Mahavidyalaya, Dr. Dalveer Singh Kauntey said that the players selected in this will participate in Maharaja Bhupendra Singh University, Punjab till 6th December. University selectors Dr. Shankar Yadav, Dr. Dharamveer Singh Yadav and District Olympic Association secretaries Mahendra Singh Rajput, Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey, Sarvesh Solanki Jaiprakash gave awards to the winning and runner-up teams.
Dr. Praveen Kumar Ojha played the role of Organizing Secretary, Dr. Vijay Anand played the role of Co-Organizing Secretary. Devesh Yadav, Himanshu Mehra, Rahul Kuntal, Lokesh Gautam played the role of judges in the competition.
The decoration of the ground was done by Patiram Holkar. District Athletics Association Secretary Jai Singh, Kabaddi Association Secretary Sunil Srivastava, District Handball Association Secretary Narendra Rajput, District Karate Association Secretary Prempal, Hardev Singh, Gyanendra, Nitin Sharma, Monu Thakur, Ajay, Neha, Simran, Pooja, Divya, Bulbul, Priyanshi etc. were present.
