Secondary School Divisional Wrestling Competition

Today, on 15 September 2023, the Secondary School Divisional Wrestling Competition was organized at the Late Mohan Pehalwan Sports Stadium, Ganeshpura, located at the Mathura district headquarters. This competition was organized in the age group of 14, 17 and 19 for boys and in the age group of 19 years for girls. The competition was inaugurated jointly by District Sports Officer, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Yadav and Dr. Kamal Kaushik, Principal, Mr. Krishna Inter College, Gokul. The chief guest was welcomed by Mr. Dinesh Saraswat, Principal, Krishak Adarsh Inter College Karak by blowing his scarf and Bachvan Bihar Inter College. College Sehi’s Principal, Mr. Hemraj Shastri welcomed the guest with a badge. Principal Dr. Sanjay Sharma, who came from Firozabad, was welcomed by Mrs. Sandhya Agarwal, Principal of Brijeshwari Inter College, Barsana. The results of the competition were as follows:
In the 19-year-old girls category, the team from Mathura was the winner and the team from Agra was the runner-up.
In the 14 year old boys category, Mathura’s team was the winner and Agra’s team was the runner-up.
In the 17 year old boys category, Mathura’s team was the winner and Agra’s team was the runner-up.
In the 19 year old boys category, Mathura was the winner and Agra was the runner up.
Similarly, the overall champion of this wrestling competition was Mathura district. The winners and runners-up of this competition will compete in the state wrestling competition to be held in Muzaffarnagar from 23 September 2023.

The prize distribution program of this program was done by Shri Niranjan Singh Solanki, President of Ramdulari Educational Institute Group, Shri Anil Kumar, Secretary of the Mandali Sports Committee, Shri Pushpendra Singh Chaudhary, Treasurer and Convener of the District Sports Committee, Principal Chaudhary Charan Singh Inter College Fodder. In the role of decision, international coach Mr. Brijmohan Singh, Khelo India coach Mr. Vinod Yadav, Mr. Krishna Veer Singh Tomar, Rahul Kumar, Mr. Rakesh Sahu, Mr. Sarvesh Solanki, Mrs. Mamta Rajput, Mrs. Ruby Pawar, Mr. Awadhesh Kumar, Mr. Jaiprakash, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Mr. Rahul Sharma were present on this occasion. Mr. Ashish Sharma, Mr. Yogendra Singh, Mr. Mahendra Singh, Mr. Harpal Singh, Mr. Kaptan Singh, Mr. Saurabh Singh, Mr. Ravi Prakash etc. were present. On this performance of the players, District School Inspector Mr. Bhaskar Mishra, District Sports Officer Mr. Rakesh Yadav, Secretary of Olympic Association, Mr. Mahendra Rajput, Secretary of Football Association, Mr. Dalbir Singh, Secretary of Athletic Association, Mr. Jai Singh, Mr. Nitin Sharma, Mr. Himanshu Singh etc. congratulated the players. And gave best wishes. The program was conducted and the vote of thanks was done by Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey, Secretary of the District Sports Committee.
