Today, on March 21, 2024, on the fourth and concluding day, the district level Shri Maharaj Singh District Hockey League 2024 was organized at the sports ground of KR PG College, Mathura.
Maharaj Group Chairman Pritam Singh, as the chief guest, introduced the players and started the final match. Pritam Singh ji assured to provide every possible support in the field of sports and inspired with his vigorous spirit.
Today’s matches were as follows, Boys’ first semi-final was played between Shri Akrur Rath Yatra Mahotsav Trust and Baldev Public School in which Baldev Public School won by 4- 3. After this, the second semi-final was played between Salempur Hockey Army and Samvedna Samadhan Sahakar in which Salempur Hockey Army won by 4-1. After this, in the girls category, the qualifier was played between Veteran Hockey Mathura and RMI Centre, in which Veteran Hockey Mathura won 3-1. After this, the final match of the girls category was played between Veteran Hockey Mathura and Love Wings and the Fitness Empire in which Veteran Hockey won 2-1 in the tie breaker. After this, the final match of the boys category was played between Salempur Hockey Army and Baldev Public School in which Salempur Hockey Army won 4-1 in the tie breaker.
Today, senior teachers of Mathura were honored in the teacher felicitation ceremony, including OP Sir, Rakesh Gupta, Amarchand, Brajmohan, Dheeraj Ratti, Rakesh Sharma, YP Sharma, Dalveer Singh Yadav, Ashok Kaithwas, Seema Yadav, Alok Sharma, Renu, Babita, Sarvesh Solanki, DK Singh, Rahul Sharma, Vinod Pal, Balbhadra, Ravi Prakash, Nitin Sharma, Councilor Manoj Gautam, international volleyball player Suraj Chaudhary, Shri Dinesh Mishra.
The competition was conducted by Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey. Sarvesh Solanki, Himanshu Mehra, Rakesh Sharma, Devesh Yadav, Rahul Kuntal, Preeti Chaudhary, Pradeep Kuntal, Y P Sharma played the role of judges. In the girls category, the best player was jointly given to Pooja and Bulbul. Emerging Player was given to Radha and Best Goalkeeper was given to Isha Sharma.
In the boys category, best player was given to Siddharth, top scorer Abhishek, emerging player Bhola and Bhola was given a fiber hockey stick by Veteran Hockey Mathura. C P Saraswat, Patiram Holkar,
