On the occasion of Sports Day on 29th August 2022, K. R. Major Dhyanchand Memorial Hockey Tournament was organized at (PG) College, Mathura in which 8 boys team and 6 girls team participated. In the women’s category. R. (PG) College team secured first position. and K. R. Hockey Club secured the second position.
The organizing secretary of the competition, Dr. Dalveer Singh Kauntey ji told that the competition was organized in the memory of Major Dhyan Chand ji in which total 14 teams of the district participated.
In the closing ceremony, MLA Honorable Shrikant Sharma ji who got acquainted with Sabui players. A friendly match final match played between Veteran Hockey Club and Chhatikara Inter College. The event was organized by Mahendra Singh Rajput. The judges were played by Rahul Kuntal, Rakesh Sharma, Sarvesh Solanki, Padam Singh, Deepak, Sandeep, Shekhar, Ishita and Vaishali Bhardwaj.
On this occasion, Secretary of District Hockey Association Shailesh Mishra ji, Secretary of District Wrestling Association Janardan ji, Secretary of District Kabaddi Association Sunil Srivastava ji, Secretary of District Athletics Association Jai Singh ji, Shailendra, Shivdutt Chaturvedi ji were available.
