A selection trial is being organized by District Athletics Association Mathura for the players participating in the state level cross country on 13th December from 2 pm at the sports ground of K.R.O Degree College. Selected players will go to district Pilibhit to participate in the state level competition. This information was given by District Athletics Secretary Jai Singh.
He said that the players included in the Under 16 age group were born between 16/01/2008 to 15/01/2010, and the players in the Under 18 age group were born between 16/01/2010. Players participating in the age group of 20 years should be born between 2006 to 18/01/2008, and players should be born between 16/01/2004 to 15/01/2006.
The competition will be organized in men’s and women’s categories. 10 km race will be organized for men and women, 8 km race for 20 years age group, 4 km race for 18 years age group and 2 km race for 16 years age group. All players should bring Aadhar card and birth certificate with them. The selection trial will be conducted under the guidance of Dr. Padam Singh, Co-Secretary of District Athletics Association and Dr. Dalveer Singh, Head of Physical Education Department of K, R, Degree College.
