On 5 December 2023, an inter-college athletics competition was organized by Kishori Raman College, Mathura, in which 400 players from about 40 colleges participated. The competition was inaugurated with the Principal of the college, Professor Praveen Kumar Aggarwal and CO City Mr. Abhishek Tiwari as special guests.
Police station in-charge Ravi Tyagi inaugurated the competition by starting the race for boys and girls and garlanding the statue of forensic scientist Milkha Singh ji and the winning players were also awarded by him. First place in women’s discus throw, Varsha Choudhary, Raghunath Singh College, Agra, second place, Chanchal KR PG College, Mathura, third place, Seema AK College, Shikohabad. In 100 m women’s competition, Neha Yadav Dev College, Agra, first Shikha Chaudhary, KR PG College, Mathura, second place, Lakshmi Yadav AK College, Shikohabad Tritiya.
In 800m women’s category, Sonia Upadhyay KR PG College Mathura first, Kanchan National PG College Mainpuri second, Tanu Choudhary BCA College Mathura third.
1st place in 100m men’s category Omkar RBS College Agra 2nd place Dushyant KR PG College Mathura Arun National PG College Mainpuri.
Got first position in high jump men’s competition Dinesh Yadav Agra College Agra Mohan Dixit KR PG College Mathura Shivam Yadav AK College Shikohabad.
First place in 400 m men’s category, Rahul, second place, Deepak and third place, third place Amit. In 5000 m men’s category, first place, Shivendra Singh, Agra College, second place, Shankar Tomar Krishna College, Agra, third place, Ankit Krishna College, Agra. The program was conducted by Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey. In the competition, Dr. Ranveer Singh played the role of selector, National PG College Mainpuri, Dr. Manju Dalal, RCA College, Mathura, Dr. Dhananjay, RBS College, Agra, Dr. Jagdish Kumar Yadav from various colleges participated in the competition, Dr. Dharmendra Bhadoria, Dr. Anupam Saxena, Dr. Babita, Dr. Kulbir Kulwinder Singh.
Bagga Dr. Pradeep Prakash represented his respective team as coach, Sarvesh Solanki in the main judging role in the competition, Nitin Sharma Hardev Singh Rahul Kundal Himanshu Mehra Gyanendra Singh Devesh Yadav Sunil Deshawar Lokesh Gautam Vishnu Bhardwaj and various technical officials of Athletics Federation of India were called.
So that the competition can be organized successfully and the competition can be made successful as per the fine standards of the competition, the players selected in this competition will represent the inter-university competition organized at IIT Bhubaneswar. There are still some events left for the second day which are Tomorrow it will be started from 8:00 am. Dr. P.P. Singh of College Keeda Committee, Dr. Praveen Ojha, Dr. Shiv Kumar Maurya, Dr. Himanshu Tiwari, Dr. Arunesh Teja played an important role in conducting the program. He worked as a record committee at all places.
