Players of Etah dominated the National, All India Cussido Championship in Shikohabad District (Firozabad).
Players of Cassido Martial Arts Academy Etah achieved 21 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze medals.
The three-day All India Cassido Championship held in Etah, Shikohabad district (Firozabad) was organized by Grand Master Engineer Rajesh Rajput ji and Grand Master Kamlesh Rajput ji (Block Chief Araon) in the premises of Karatians School India.


Karate players from different states displayed excellent techniques and styles and won gold, silver and bronze medals. The main attraction of the championship was the international level fighting ring arena.
The championship was inaugurated by Honorable Cabinet Minister (Shri Jaiveer Singh Ji). In which a total of 59 karate players from Etah participated and performed well and brought fame to their town Etah all over India.


According to Karateians State Head Amit Varshney, about 600 karate and taekwondo players from 10 states participated in this national level competition organized on 25,26,27 November 2023.
Chief coach Amit Varshney said that it was not easy for the players to win medals in this championship. All this is the result of the hard work of the players, it is a matter of pride for the city Etah.
The names of the players who received gold medals are as follows-
Lalu Yadav, Atharva Rajput, Ansh Chauhan, Srishti Pachauri, Krish Kumar, Arab Varshney, Tanishk Verma, Riya Yadav, Adit Soni, Harsh Kashyap, Karan Kumar, Vedansh Kulshrestha, Sachin Jain, Devansh Yadav, Shubham Upadhyay, Advik Parasar, Dilip Rajput , Mohini Rajput, Kush Yadav, Kavish Yadav and Soham Yadav. The players who received silver medal are-

Dhruv Chaturvedi, Daksh Raghav, Anshu Yadav, Avyan Gupta, Janvi Yadav, Sita Aggarwalia, Daksh Mahajan, Raja Chauhan, Shanvika Singh, Devendra Singh Chauhan, Nishant Yadav, Sumit Yadav, Tapish Shakya, Pavani Mishra, Akhand Pratap Singh, Suryansh Rathore, Navyansh Yadav, RV Chaturvedi, Yash Pratap Singh, Anshuman Sharma and Ayush Yadav.

The players who received bronze medal are-

Prashanjit Singh, Shaurya Pratap Singh, Shubhra Singh, Abhishek Vikram, Kumar Vihaan, Lalit Yadav, Lokendra Kumar, Ipsita Singh, Atharva Singh, Archit Jain, Tanush Agarwal, Anya Sharma, Shaurya Gupta, Anshul Yadav, Arju Yadav and Priyam Yadav.

All the players who returned from the championship were honored by serving sweets on 29th November at the main training venue, Cassido Martial Arts Academy, Maharani Lakshmi Bai Girls Inter College, Etah.

On this occasion, Shaheed Park Karate Class instructor Yatik Saxena gave tips to all the players about Kumite fight.

Indrapuri Karate Class instructor Rajan Solanki, while congratulating all the players, gave a message to more and more youth in the city to learn martial arts.

Girls Karate coach Neetu Varshney praised the discipline of all the players and wished them a bright future.

Sanjay Nagar Karate Class instructor Alok Yadav congratulated all the players for their victory and good performance.

Shanti Nagar Karate class instructor Usha Rajput, who was present there, encouraged the players.

A large number of senior citizens and parents were present on this occasion.
