Amarnath School Overall Champion Won 25 gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals in District Taekwondo Competition In the 37th District Taekwondo Competition, the students of Amarnath Vidya Ashram and Grown Soul Kids Gurukul captured the overall champion by securing 44 medals. The students got 25 gold, 12 silver and 7 bronze medals. Congratulating the players, Dr. Aditya Kumar Bajpai, Chairman of Amarnath Educational Institute and Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Bajpai said that along with education, the hidden talent of the students is also being brought out. In the competition organized at Mathura Refinery Club, Amarnath Vidya Ashram got first position, Kendriya Vidyalaya Mathura Cantt in second position and Mathura Refinery Employee Club in third position.
Sub junior competition was inaugurated by Vice President of Refinery Employees Club Rajkumar Yadav, Secretary of Refinery Employees Club of Cadet Competition Swaraj Tomar, Junior Competition was inaugurated by Pushpendra Singh Physical Education Center School Mathura Cantt and Senior Competition was inaugurated by President of District Taekwondo Association Sanjay Kumar. Prize distribution was done by Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Abhishek, Kamlesh, Arvind. Krishnakant, Sarthak, Manya, Rishab, Geetika, Manav, Bharti, Mehroon, Bhumika, Neelam, Nandini, Lokendra, Tushar, Dev, Bharat, Laxman, Atul, Sameer, Vinay, Yash, Swapnil, Kapil, Dev Prakash, Anupriya compete , Vishakha, Bhumika, Shivani, Divyanka, Gauri, Neha, Vanshika, Nandini, Ichha, Ritika, Gulshan, Divyanshu, Ravinder, Tushar, Jayaprakash, Ashutosh, Kaustubh, and Hariom Tiwari etc. won medals.
District Taekwondo Association Secretary Deepak Kumar told that the said competition was held under the patronage of the treasurer of Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Association, Devendra Singh. The judges were Tulsiram, Kapil, Meenu, Ajit, Hariom and Priyanka. Selected players of the competition will participate in the state level competition which will be held from June 15 to 18 at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow.
