District Sports Secretary of Secondary Education Department of Mathura district, Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey said that two players of Mathura district have brought laurels to the state and district by winning medals in National School Competition year 2022-23 National School Weight Lifting Competition which is held in Delhi In this competition, Sachin Chaudhary, a student of Bridge Officer Inter College Bajna, has brought laurels to his district and state by winning gold medal in the 79 kg weight category for a 19-year-old boy. Kumari Neha Raghav, a student of Sardar Patel Inter College Devnagar Mathura, in the National School Athletics Competition, 19-year-old boy and girl has won the bronze medal by securing second place in the shot put competition.
It is known that this year four boys and girls were selected for the National School Competition, in which respectively one student from KR Inter College, one student in football, one student from Sri Radha Krishna College Usfar Mathura, one student from Brij Hitkari Inter College Bajna.
