District level junior U20 boys and girls wrestling is going to be organized on 24 January 2023 at Late Mohan Pahalwan Sports Stadium Ganeshra Mathura under the joint aegis of District Wrestling Association and Sports Office Mathura. Giving information, General Secretary of District Wrestling Association Janardan Singh Pahalwan said that in coordination with Directorate of Sports Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association, boys and girls in Jhansi will participate in the state level competition, these selected wrestlers will come forward.
I will also be able to play in the state level junior wrestling championship, therefore, all the akhada directors of the district Mathura, academy directors, gurus and Ustad Khalifa are requested to send junior boys and girls from their respective akhadas and academies to the joint training of district administration Mathura and district wrestling association Mathura.
To participate in the district level wrestling competition under the aegis of January 24, 2023, weight will be taken from 9:00 to 10:00. Wrestling will start from 12:00. 79,86,92, 97 and 125 kg weight
Girls will be able to participate in 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62, 65, 68, 72 and 76 weight categories.
Rakesh Kumar Yadav, District Sports Officer, Mathura told that Uttar Pradesh was formed in 1950, on the occasion of that, district level wrestling competition of junior category is being organized, in which Kamal Kishore Varshney, Vice President of Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association, Rajkumar Sharma wrestler President District Wrestling Association, social worker Kunwarpal Singh Sirohi, Senior Vice President Dharam Singh, Treasurer Hariom Sharma etc. will be present.
Agra District Kesari Competition was organized keeping in mind the goal of making the players aware about the game continuously. Younger brother Deepak Pahalwan on becoming Agra District Kesari on this occasion
