KR PG College Mathura became the winner in netball. Today, on 5 January 2024, women’s netball competition was organized by Chhalesar Campus Agra. In which a total of 6 teams of the university participated, KR PG College, Mathura, Chhalesar Campus College Agra, Agra, Baikunthi Devi College, Agra College Agra, St. John’s College Agra, RBS College Agra. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Akhilesh Saxena, Sports Director of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Dr. Dalveer Singh Kauntay, physical education in-charge of KR PG College, Mathura, said, the first match was played between KR PG College, Mathura, and Agra College, Agra, in which KR PG College, Mathura won by 9-0, the second match was played at Chhalesar Campus. It was played between Agra and KR PG College, Mathura. In this, KR PG College won the match by a margin of 8-2 and made it to the finals. The final match was played between St. John’s College, Agra and KR PG College, Mathura. In which KR PG College Mathura captured the final trophy with the score of 12-10. Simran, Neha, Poonam, Pinky, Renu, Priyanka, Chanchal, Gunjan, Pooja Chaudhary performed commendably on behalf of KR PG College. Dr. Dhananjay of RBS College Agra and Dr. Ravi Shankar of Agra College Agra, Dr. Jaideep Sharma and Mahesh Faujdar of Chhalesar Campus Agra were present in the role of selectors. Principal of the college Prof. Praveen Kumar Aggarwal, Dr. Kulwinder Singh Bagga from KR PG and sports committee members Dr. P.P. Singh, Dr. Praveen Kumar Ojha, Dr. Vijay Anand, Dr. Himanshu Tiwari, Dr. Shivkumar Maurya, Dr. Divya Durvedi, Dr. Shiv Prasad, Dr. Anu Singh and others. Players and students Gyanendra, Rahul Kuntal, Himanshu Mehra, Pradeep, Sandeep, Devesh Yadav, Ankit Prashant, Yogesh Sharma, Sandeep, Ajit, Sandeep Singh congratulated the winning team on this achievement.
