Today, on 4 October 2023, the District Judo Competition of Secondary Schools was organized at Late Mohan Pehalwan Sports Stadium, Ganeshra in which various schools of the district participated. The competition was inaugurated by District Sports Officer Mr. Rakesh Yadav. This competition was organized in three age groups of 14, 17 and The winners of different age groups of the competitions organized for 19 year old boys and girls were as follows
In the 14 year old boys category, Amit, Rohit, Yogesh, Karan Lokesh, Abhishek and Naman were winners in their respective weight categories.
In the 17 year old boys category, Suraj Ravi, Karan, Rahul, Gaurav, Ajay and Mohit were winners in their respective weight categories.
In the 19-year-old boys category, Aman Anu Sharma, Ketan Krishna, Anmol, Harish Kishan and Bhuvanesh were winners in their respective weight categories.
Similarly, in the 14 year old girls category, Manvi Anjali Priya Sanam Hemlata Simran Pravesh were winners in their respective weight categories.
Manisha Sangeeta Priya Sophia Mansi Nargis and Aarti were winners in 17 years age group.
Manorama Tejasvi Ritu Tania Anjali Santoshi and Aarti were the winners in the 19 year old girls age group.
The winners of the said competition will compete in the Divisional Judo Competition to be held on 8 August 2029.
In this competition, in the boys category overall, Shri Radha Krishna Inter College Usfar was the winner and Gram Swavalmbi Vidyalaya Inter College Chhatikara was the runner up. Similarly, in the girls’ category, Jain Inter College, Mathura was the winner and KR Girls Inter College, Mathura was the runner-up. The role of the judge was played by the national trainer and judge, Mr. Lakhan Kuntal, Mrs. Mamta Rajput, Mr. Sarvesh, Mr. DK Singh, Mr. Amit Gautam, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Mrs. Ruby Pawar, Mr. Chandrashekhar. The program was conducted by Dr. Padam Singh Kauntey, Secretary of the District Sports Committee. On this occasion, Mr. Mahendra Singh, Mr. Ajit Singh, Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Kamal Kumar, Mr. Sripati Ram etc. were present. District School Inspector Mr. Bhaskar Mishra, Secretary of District Football Association, Dr. Dalbir Singh, Secretary of Kauntey Athletics Association, Mr. Jai Singh, Secretary of Olympic Association, Mr. Mahendra Singh Rajput etc. congratulated and congratulated the winning players.
