The District Athletics Association will organize the selection trial of Open Athletics Championship and Under 18 age group on 23/9/2023 from 1 pm at the playground of K.O. Degree College. The trial will be conducted in both men and women categories. Players participating in the open age group should be 16 years old by 14 October 2023 and players participating in the 18 years age group should be between 18/10/2005 to 17/10.
To make this trial successful, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Praveen Kumar Aggarwal, Principal of KR Degree College, which included Dr. Padam Singh, Sarvesh Solanki, D.K. Singh, Hardev Singh, Nitin Sharma, Bhalbhadra Singh and others. Dr. Dalveer Singh, head of the physical education department of KR Degree College, has been entrusted with the responsibility of making the trials successful. District Athletics Association Secretary Jai Singh said that all the players should bring their Aadhar card and birth certificate. According to Ved Prakash Pandey, running competitions have been organized from time to time for players so that students who want to make a career in athletics can be helped. There are many private institutions including government institutions in the district where players are prepared for the race.
