Under the banner of Karate Association of India, 4 days National Karate Competition was organized at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Delhi.

Karate players of sub-junior, cadet, junior and senior categories from 21 states participated in the competition. A total of more than 700 karate players including 120 referees contributed to make this competition a success. The competition was inaugurated by Rajneesh Chowdhary, Secretary, Karate Association of India by lighting the lamp.

A total of 27 players participated under the leadership of Rajeev Soni, Kanchan Rani, and Himanshu, coaches of Fighters Academy of Martial Arts from Mathura district, in which Chandan and Krishna Pratap Singh won the gold medal, while jointly Diksha Sharma, Tanishka Chowdhary, Pragya Chowdhary and Deeksha Sharma got bronze medal. All the winning players were awarded certificates along with medals by the institution.
On returning to the district, the players were welcomed by Vasundhara Basing Foundation President Dr. Sunita Pachar, Vice President Mantraveer Singh Chaudhary, Treasurer Ved Prakash Pandey, along with Fama founder Sonu Nishad.
