Under the aegis of sports Karate Association of Mathura, the second district level karate competition is being organized at GLA University Mathura. In the said karate competition, a total of more than 200 karate players from the district will participate, who will secure medals for themselves by performing in KATA and KUMITE. Presiding over the competition, Dr. Sunita Pachar said that the competition will be held on Sunday, May 14, at GLA University’s Natraj Club, in which cooperation is being provided by Sports Department GLA University Mathura & Hariom Shukla, karate coach of the University.

According to Mr. Sonu Nishad, technical director and founder (Fama Academy) of the competition, karate coaches arriving from various schools and clubs will participate with all their players with the aim of making their place in the state level karate competition, of which the winning players will be sent to Meerut. You will get a chance to make a place for the national competition by participating in the state level karate competition. According to Ved Prakash Pandey, the competition will be held in four different categories through weight in sub-junior, cadet, junior and senior.

Along with following the guidelines of Corona, all the players are requested to bring their karate kit with whatever basic facilities they have so that they do not face any kind of problem during the department.
