Under the aegis of District Wrestling Association Indian method, with the help of Akhara Shiv Shakti, youth wrestlers were tried for state level wrestling competition UP Kesari and UP Kumar at village Maholi arena.
Union president Ashok Shekhar wrestler told that the trial was inaugurated by chief guest Rakesh Kumar and Sumit Khokhar by joining hands of the wrestlers, the chief guest Abhishek Chaudhary and Rahul Sharma welcomed the concluding wrestlers, Umeed Khalifa and Lakshya Arora welcomed the guests. It was done by presenting garlands and mementos. State level wrestling competition will be held at RTO Office Gas Plant Jamalpur, Varanasi from 23 February.
The UP Kumar competition will be held in the 65 to 75 kg weight category, in which Rohit and Ravi have been selected. Whereas UP Kesari will be above 75 kg, in which running wrestler Barari and Shera wrestlers were selected. Weight wrestling will be between 40 to 45 kg, in which Raju and Akshay have been selected.
