Yoga camp was successfully organized at Mount Hill Academy School located in Mathura district. On this occasion, coach Ved Prakash Pandey threw light on the importance of yoga and told about the asanas which are as follows.
Yoga consists of the following eight separate branches which is given below:- Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharna, Dhyana, and Samadhi. Asanas Are the third element of yoga and asanas is a posture in which of practitioner sits.
An asana is a body Posture, originally sitting for meditation and later in Hatha yoga and modern yoga including reclining, standing, inverted, twisting or balancing as well as seated poses.
The yoga postures called asans improve respiration through focused breathing techniques while the body maintains specific poses asans are most effective when the mind and body work in unison. One should only perform asanas to the best of once ability. On this occasion, the School Manager, Chairman, Principal and teacher, enthusiastic students also took advantage of the yoga camp.
