Wrestling Federation of India is going to organize the 1st Under-17 Open Ranking Tournament from 26th to 28th June 2022 at Tau Devi Lal, Panchkula for the following weight categories. Freestyle: 45, 48, 51, 55, 60, 65, 71, 80, 92 and 110 kg. Greco-Roman styles: 45, 48, 51, 55, 60, 65, 71, 80, 92 and 110 kg. Women’s Wrestling: 40, 43, 46, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69 and 73 kg. • All wrestlers can participate in the 2022 Under-17 Open National Ranking Tournament. Wrestlers can register themselves online through www.wrestlingfederationofindia.org. Wrestlers can also submit their registration form in person at the office of WFI, 21 Ashok Road, New Delhi. The registration form is available at the WFI’s office. •
Interested wrestler will have to register his name for the said competition by 22/06/2022. No entry will be accepted after the due date. • All contestants must be under-17 age group. Wrestlers born in the years 2005 and 2006 [16-17 years] are eligible to participate in the Under-17 [Cadet] Open National Ranking Tournament, while those born in 2007 [15 years] are eligible for medical and parental certificates. can participate together.
• All contestants must have a valid WFI license book.
• Verification of age and domicile will be done through Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card / Passport.
• Will be open to WFI to conduct dope tests during the competition.
• If a wrestler is found to be overage, he will be disqualified from the competition.
• Birth certificate is mandatory for all participants. All the contestants must bring their original birth certificate issued by the CMO of the respective state. To participate in the competition, the birth certificate issued between the years 2005 to 2009 will be valid. Birth certificate issued after 2009 will not be valid for this contest.
• Registration fee of Rs.1,000/- will be accepted in cash or online through WFI website.
