A huge wrestling riot was organized in Sihora village.
Under the joint aegis of District Wrestling Association Mathura and village Sihora, a wrestling riot was organized on 29 May 2022 from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, about 240 pairs of wrestling were organized in the riot. This riot proved to be a historic riot in which international level wrestlers, mainly wrestlers from Georgia and Iran, surprised the people by showing their wrestling claims. The entire area of Dangal, built in 3 bighas of land, seemed to have a different feeling, in which wrestling in the arena seemed a very thrilling in itself. Meerut’s endurance wrestler Bharat Kumar and Iran’s todo wrestler were the center of attraction on the basis of 10 minutes of wrestling, but on the basis of 3 minute points, the endurance wrestler was declared the winner.
Bharat Kesari Devendra Pehalwan got the hand of Vikram Pehalwan from Delhi but he did not come to fight later and ran away, Devendra Pehalwan was declared the winner by Dangal Committee.
Other wrestlers include Harkesh Pehelwan, Shera Pehelwan, Shibu Pehelwan, Hanuman Pehelwan, Deva Pehelwan, Hariom Tractor, Subhash Panigaon, Shiva Pehelwan, Sachin Pehelwan, Pawan Pehelwan, Ramveer Pehelwan, Bajna, Vishal Bahaj, Bharat, Rahul, Gaurav, Kalu, Shyam, Narendra, Deepak, etc. Kurtis were also fought, wrestling was inaugurated by District Panchayat President Chaudhary Kishan Singh by joining hands of two wrestlers. Senior National Medalist Archana Choudhary was honored by Bharat Kesari Devendra Pehelwan and Dr Sunita Pachar President Vasundhara Blessing Foundation by giving a Gurj and cash award. Bhai Kamal Kishore Varshney Vice President Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association thanked Devendra Pehalwan and police force and officers for organizing such a big riot, such big arrangements, huge crowd in spite of this peacefully.
In the role of referee, Sooraj Pehelwan Barauli, Nehal Singh, Brajmohan Wrestling Coach, Bhagwan Singh, Bhupendra Mishra, included.
Dr. Kanhaiyalal Rasik kept his composure by commenting in Dangal, the entire riot was jointly conducted by Janardan Pehelwan, General Secretary of District Wrestling Association and Bharat Kesari Devendra Pehalwan Village Sihora. Dangal was shown live by Ved Prakash Pandey through YouTube, mainly Omkar wrestler, Navratna wrestler, Sonu wrestler, Gajraj wrestler, and Rajpal wrestler etc.
