Panna:- Irfan Khan and Harshita Vishwakarma, players of Ju-Jitsu Association of India and Ju-Jitsu Association of Madhya Pradesh, have been selected for the 8th Asian Ju-Jitsu competition. It is a matter of pride for our country and the entire state. The 8th Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship is being organized in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates UAE from 1 to 9 May. Ju-Jitsu Association of Madhya Pradesh President Vijendra Kharsodia told that Irfan Khan has been selected for the 69 kg weight group in the fighting system event and Harshita Vishwakarma has been selected for the 45 kg group in the fighting system event. They were selected on the basis of their state ranking. Both Irfan and Harshita have won medals in the past while representing the state and the country in many national and international competitions.

Along with Asian Games, Ju-Jitsu sport is also a part of the world’s prestigious sporting events like World Games, World Combat Games, World Police Games, World University Games etc. Ju-Jitsu sport is fully recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Sports.
