Three international creators, Giri Paul (Tanzania), Drew Hills (USA) and Cassandra Spitmann (Germany), were also honored. PM Modi said that content creators can reach any corner of the world in a second. You are the brand ambassador of Vocal’s local innovation. You should create such content that the country also gets likes along with you. Include the global audience in this, he said that from data revolution to cheap mobile phones, a new world has been created for content creators.
PM said that the credit of this award show goes to the youth of the country and every digital content creator. Modi said that India’s Curiosity towards the world is increasing, hence to increase the reach, you should create content in your own language and English as well as in UN languages like German, French, Spanish.
For the first National Writer Award, 1.5 lakh nominations were received from across the country in 20 categories. Modi told the youth, I believe that you die for me more than me and you die for me because I live for you. There are many who will die for those who do not live for themselves. When Malhar Kalambay, who won the cleanliness ambassador award, expressed his desire to work with Modi in the cleanliness campaign, the PM said yes, he can definitely work in every type of cleanliness.
