KR PG College Mathura’s women hockey team won the final trophy by defeating BSA College Mathura in a one-sided manner.
Today on 22nd November, ND College Agra organized an inter-college women hockey competition at Eklavya Sports Stadium Agra. The competition was inaugurated by the university’s sports director Dr Akhilesh Saxena and observer Dr Dalveer Singh Kaunteya after introducing themselves to the players.
5 teams participated in the competition, BSA College Mathura, KR PG College Mathura, Krishna College Agra, ND College Agra, BD Jain College Agra. KR PG College Kida Incharge and Team Coach Dr. Dalveer Singh Kaunteya told that the first match of KR PG College was played between Krishna College Agra and defeated them by a score of (5-0) and made it to the finals.
The final match was played between KR PG College Mathura and BSA College Mathura in which they defeated BSA College by (7-0) and captured the final trophy. Rahul Kuntal, Sandeep Kumar, Sandeep, Nisha played the role of referee. Lakshmi was the player of the match from KR PG College and Pooja, Simran, Neha, Priyanshi, Bulbul, Pooja Pachauri, Sapna, Charu gave a commendable performance.
The players selected in the competition will represent the team of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University in the North Zone Inter University Competition to be held from 25th to 29th November in Maharaja Bhupendra Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala. The players selected from KR PG College, Simran, Pooja Pachauri, Priyanshi, Pooja, Bulbul, Laxmi will participate in the team.
The college principal Dr. Praveen Kumar Agarwal and the players of the Kida Committee, Dr. Shivkumar Maurya, Dr. Shiv Kumar, Dr. Prabhat Verma, Dr. Vandana Chauhan, Dr. Anuradha, Dr. Vijay Anand, former hockey player Dr. Padam Singh, Sarvesh Solanki, District Athletic Association Secretary Jai Singh, Kabaddi Association Secretary Sunil Srivastava, Olympic Association Secretary Mahendra Singh Rajput, KRTT College Principal Dr. Kulwinder Singh Bagga, Hardev Chaudhary, Devesh Yadav, Nitin Sharma, Yogesh, Lokesh congratulated them on their achievement.
